Report introduction: Mental health in Italy
Two years after the emergence of the Coronavirus, how do people feel in terms of mental health in Italy? This report, which investigates the wellbeing of the Italian population, shows an important result: almost 8 out of 10 Italians say they do not feel well in terms of mental health. This is a revealing statistic that can guide the choices of the government and institutions aimed at promoting the well-being of citizens: an example is the introduction of the Psychologist Bonus and the Basic Psychologist in Lombardy.
The quantitative survey on mental health in Italy was conducted on a sample of 1,000 Italians, representative by age-gender-origin of the Italian population (95% confidence interval and 5% margin of error).
